Like Broadwing, Level 3 utilizes state of the art fiber optic
technology which allows optical amplifier spacing of roughly
60 miles, with regenerators spaced about 500 miles apart. As
such there isn't a whole lot to look forward to other than
inconsistently spaced route markers.
