Please note the proper name of companies listed on this page and this site are used soley for the purpose of identification. This usage is not to be confused with affiliation or approval. There has absolutely no connection between this site and any of the companies below except as a customer.

Also note that the information used in the construction of this site has been found in the public domain and is based almost exclusively on records from the FCC's ULS database. Additional information from in person site visits, memories of former network technicians as well as historical documents such as old route maps have also been used.

Below is a table of microwave networks active and dark in the Mid-Atlantic region (Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina). Some networks are access backhaul (such as wireless and telecom) others are backhaul and interconnection networks to support trunked two way radio systems (such as Natural Gas and Power). Still, other networks are used to relay broadcast programing inbetween headends (cable) or remote transmitters and/or their relay stations (broadcast). This page is under construction and maybe expanded to include other types of point to point microwave networks in the region.
