Comments:

Originally a coaxial cable route linking the hardened Dranesville switch to the AT&T microwave/FTS switch site in Faulkner, MD this route has now been upgraded to fiber optic cabling. Modern fiber cable can be seen crossing I-95 near exit 163 (Lorton). It is unlikely the older huts are being rused for the new fiber optic run as more modern repeater facilities have been spotted in the general area of the older coax huts. What follows is a list of the coaxial repeater huts followed by their suspected fiber optic replacements. Eventually this will be broken into to pages when enough data comes to light.
