Comments:
This office almost breaks the "no new CO" rule that governs most telephone companies in Virginia and NE North Carolina (probably the mid-atlantic as well). In Decemember of 2000 Bell Atlantic but the current massive brick expansion un and cut the original much smaller, wood panel covered CO in half. While the brunt of this office is new, the rear of the original CO remains as part of the bnack of the right side of the CO.

Sadly, the original Bell System logo present on the old CO was not transfered to the new office. However, a Verizon sign was also not put up in a major area. Pictures of the original office and construction of the expansion will be coming in the future.
