Facility was under construction back in 2001 and the switch was originally
known as RCMEVA47DS0. AGL Networks fiber marker have been observed nearby, and
they are presumed to possibly interconnect here and terminate at the Sprint POP
in Richmond. Due to the nature of Level 3's operations it is thought the switch
is some sort of Softswitch.
Site is also a fiber optic regenerator site for Level (3)'s overall backbone.
