This shouldn't count as Brooks was purchased by LDDS WorldCom back in the mid-90s. However, since WorldCom bought MCI it makes sense that Brooks would be colocated at this trackside POP instead of another facility. AT&T also has the same idea about placing a POP near by BellSouth's Gulfport tandem.

With the impending buyout of MCI by Verizon it remains to be seen how long this facility will retain its original signage. The really surprising aspect is that sign survied the night of 1,000 sign removals when MCI removed all logos from their facilities in an attempt to avoid the wrath of distrungtled shareholders.
